There Is More

There Is More is the designated outreach giving platform of Ocean Church. Each year, through the doors that God opens, we are able to provide aid and assistance to those in need through three initiatives: Ocean Global, Ocean Local, and Ocean Expansion. We invite you to join us in the “more” God has for us.

Global Missions Teams

Global Missions Teams offer a unique opportunity to witness God's work globally by serving alongside our partners in their fight against poverty and injustice.

Check out our upcoming trips below.

Ocean Global

Ocean Church (OC) is passionate about spreading the good news of Jesus all around the world.  We want every member of OC, from young to old, to commit to giving to There Is More’ for Missions.  We will understand the needs of others in the world and make serving God and others one of our most important priorities.  By knowing the missionaries and projects we support and pray regularly for them, we hope to inspire OC members to develop a heart for those around the world.  ‘There is More’ is a place of faith that we partner with God above and beyond tithes.

OC Global Partners

As part of our ‘There is More’ global missions initiative, we support missionaries*, help build up pastors and church buildings, reach the Jewish nation, feed the hungry, and rescue and restore sex trafficking victims.  Below is a list of some of the global organizations/projects we are currently supporting.

Hatikva Project

HaTikva Project (The Hope Project) exists to see the Israeli Body of Messiah built up and to serve needy Israelis in the name of Yeshua as they fulfill His commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself.”  Yeshua is the center of all that they do and they commit to being completely open about our faith in every interaction.

They love to say that “we always bring Yeshua in through the front door with us, rather than trying to sneak him in through the back.” Through HaTikva Project, people everywhere have an opportunity to meet the needs of Israeli believers in financial crisis, to provide high quality, subsidized dental care to all of Israel, and to promote and facilitate adoption and foster care.

African Vision of Hope – Zambia

There are 4700 children enrolled on the 6 African Vision of Hope Campuses in Zambia, some of the most vulnerable in the world. Zambia is filled with youth and young children, almost 50% of their population is under age 15, the next generation.

Priority One

We are dedicated to Christian leadership development through the building of Bible training centers around the world. Priority One is supported by individuals and churches who are passionate about investing in the lives of influencers. Together we have helped build classrooms, dormitories, and libraries in over 50 countries.

Mission Possible

Mission Possible is a Christian mission and aid organization for Eastern Europe.

Since 1974, their goal has been to equip the local Church in Eastern Europe for works of service (Eph. 4:12). They are helping them effectively reach needy and searching people in bringing them the Gospel message, Biblical teaching, and life-changing help.

Mission Possible is actively involved in the war in Ukraine by coming alongside the churches in Eastern Europe and providing them with food and resources for refugees.

Ocean Expansion

If you look around, you can see we are growing. Not only is our church growing in attendance and members, but we are growing in the depth of relationship with Jesus as his disciples. With this growth, there are several places of expansion we feel the Lord pointing us toward this year.

Estero Campus Master Planning

Our Estero campus has been growing in weekend attendance, small group attendance, youth ministry attendance, and our Ocean Preschool Academy has been at capacity for years. Additionally, the facility has served us well for the last 9 years but we have reached some of the limitations on how we are able to maximize the usage of the facility.

Because of this, we are wanting to embark on a campus redesign and Master plan strategy to better serve OC members and the community at large. We will be partnering with a church design firm and taking steps in the months to come to freshen up our Estero Campus.

Cape Coral Campus Development

The city of Cape Coral was recently ranked as the fastest growing city in our nation. Because of this we are wanting to prepare our facility, and land, for the harvest of souls that God would bring to our church.

In 2019, the Cape campus underwent extensive renovations prior to our January 2020 launch. While we were able to complete 80-85% of the building, there were still some areas of the campus that were left unaddressed. We believe this is the year we complete the renovation process and maximize the use of that facility.
